Deus Ex : New Vision is a effort to retexture the entire Deus Ex game, using high definition textures (typically 1024²) to bring more realism into the environments.

This mod will be compatible with DX:R, HDTP, Rebirth, and any other mod that does not change the current texture files. In mods such as Redsun 2020, Hotel Carone, Zodiac etc. not all textures will be changed as they contain a lot of custom textures.

Will this work online?
Not at the moment. Currently the texture packages created cause Version Mismatch errors. This may be fixed in the future.

What will the performance hit be?
If you are running a modern day system, the performance hit should be fairly minimal. Loading times will be increased a lot, though.

Can I use these textures with UnrealEd?
No, as soon as you attempt to load a texture it will immediately crash.

How big will the final mod be?

This big. About 1-2gb.
